Where did I go wrong? This may be a common question that may come to mind when you evaluate your circumstances. You may have even convinced yourself that your degrees are useless to our forever changing society. Trust me, people will belittle and tell you that you wasted your time on your degree because they do not see any positive outcomes. On the other hand, you must evaluate what you are meant to do with your years on this earth. I can assure you that you are not meant to be on government assistance for the rest of your life. Considered it as a stepping stone.
Depending on where you live may also have an affect on your circumstances. Don’t let this discourage you. Personally, I live in area that is dominated by a particular ethnicity. I have had so many setbacks and rejections, but I will never give up on my goals. You have a natural talent that is waiting to blossom, but it is hard to see it when your adversities are clouding your view. You are not alone. There are so many individuals like you that have degrees and are on government assistance. We look for our degrees to save us. A degree is only a piece paper that indicates that you took the necessary courses needed to apply for the job. Reality is, we must save ourselves. Keep your head up.
