It can happen at any time, rejection. It has a way of making you feel undervalued. The worst part is, you don’t even know when rejection is coming. Sometimes, we are rejected by our friends, family, and the love of our life. Other times, we are rejected by dream careers. Regardless, we still must deal with it. If you don’t have the tools of dealing with rejection, it will beat you down and leave you in a deep depression. The main tool for dealing with rejection is mental toughness. We easily get wrapped into our feelings as to why we have been rejected. We become angry and resentful towards ourselves and at those who have rejected us. We let our thoughts overpower our mental toughness and turn it into weakness.
I am not saying that you should not be angry, but in the mist of your anger, try to examine why you believe you were rejected. You will realize at times that it wasn’t your fault. We live in a world where people do not have a sincere concern for the welfare of others. We have developed a saying “As long as mine is good, I’m good. We have learned how to live off individuals’ pain and adversities. I am telling you from experience that things will get better, and I pray that you find your oasis. There is a door designed specifically for you. Only you can walk through that door.
